PSAT/NMSQT Information

Triad HS will be offering the PSAT/NMSQT (Preliminary Scholastic Aptitude Test/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test) for Juniors on Saturday, October 15th from 8:30am – 12:30 pm.

 Benefits of taking the test

-To help practice for the SAT exam, which is often used as part of admission requirements to colleges as well as for scholarships

-Identifies skills for improvement

-Provides valuable data through an online score-reporting portal

-Enters qualifying juniors in to the National Merit Scholarship Program. If students score high enough, they have a chance of winning scholarships of varying amounts

-Through the online College Board portal, students will be able to discover majors and careers that are of interests to them
